So for me, the best way to do that was through fashion<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>Judy Sanchez<\/strong>: Jackets, vests, shirts and more. Walmart is celebrating Hispanic heritage with Hija de tu Madre Nueva Vida capsule collection, and it\u2019s making an appearance at Billboard Latin Music Week. When first generation Mexican American designer Patty Delgado noticed there wasn\u2019t much apparel that reflected her culture. She took things in her own hands and started Hija de tu Madre, a clothing line that celebrated her Mexican heritage and American upbringing.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>Patty Delgado<\/strong>: A lot of the things that I saw growing up just did not resonate with my story and my upbringing, and oftentimes kind of felt like a stereotype or a trope, and I really wanted to create authentic Latina representation. So for me, it\u2019s incorporating all the little details that make home home in my clothing.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<strong>Judy Sanchez: <\/strong>The line and its design is rooted in honoring Latinx culture in a way that feels stylish, playful and vibrant. Fast forward to 2025 and Walmart has taken notice of the line. In September, it was announced that Hija de tu Madre launched a limited time collab with Walmart called the Nueva Vida collection, sold exclusively on walmart.com. The unisex line is titled appropriately as a way to honor Patti\u2019s first generation identity and her parent\u2019s journey from Mexico.
