At 4,850 mm long and 1,900 mm wide, the concept retains the space focus of a traditional estate, with 650 litres of luggage capacity that expands to more than 1,700 litres with the rear seats folded.

The cabin introduces several new technologies. A 1.2-metre-wide Horizon Display runs across the dashboard, complemented by a vertical central screen. Škoda’s digital assistant Laura is embedded into the system, offering navigation help, contextual information, and even note-taking.

The interior also debuts Bio-Adaptive Lighting, which automatically adjusts cabin illumination to natural light cycles. “Simply Clever” details include a portable speaker, an integrated fridge, and wireless charging pods for passengers’ devices.

Sustainability is central to the concept. Seat covers use 100% recycled PES flat-knit material, while Ultrasuede surfaces are partly plant-based. Flooring is made from recycled leather scraps, and several components are designed for easier recycling at end-of-life.

Externally, the Vision O features a more robust look, with a new Tech-loop front mask and a continuous lighting signature. Aerodynamic elements such as active cooling vents, flush door handles, and optimised wheel design aim to improve efficiency and extend range. The lighting package includes Škoda Cyber Lights at the front, T-shaped rear LEDs, and an illuminated Škoda logo.

Technology also extends to driving capability. The Vision O is equipped with advanced autonomous features, including a Tranquil Mode that alters seat configuration and cabin lighting to create a lounge-like space when the car is driving itself under specific conditions.

Škoda says the Vision O previews a production estate to be built on a future Volkswagen Group EV platform in the next decade.

(Edited by : Ajay Vaishnav)

Website design HomeAuto NewsŠkoda unveils Vision O concept in Munich: Electric estate signals next-gen design and tech Website design The

[1166

post-12990","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-website
["GET
